Here is our Art Camp Update! Day 4
Thank you so much for your prayers and support; we have had a fantastic week of Art Camp so far. We have averaged 63 kids per day, memorizing bible verses, singing “All Creatures of Our God and King”, and working on all kinds of different art projects. Today the children decorated their own cakes and cookies and made bookmarks with pressed flowers. They also learned about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and how He came to make all things right. The children were unusually well-behaved and very responsive to the lessons; praise God for His grace!
Please keep all the teachers, kids, and helpers in your prayers tomorrow as we finish up our week together. We’ll be talking about how Jesus can give us a new heart and make us a new creation, and how one day He will make a new heavens and a new earth. Meanwhile, we have some more fantastic art projects to exercise the gift of creativity in praise of Our Creator.
Please also remember our Art Fair tomorrow night from 7:00-9:00pm. Everyone is invited to come and see all of the artwork the kids have created; it is also a great way to encourage all of our children, teachers, and helpers while reaching out to and welcoming our friends and neighbors Come enjoy live music and delicious finger-food as we celebrate a great week together!
What fun to see the beautiful cakes! The kids were very creative and good at decorating and I know they had a lot of fun. Thanks teachers and helpers!
