Art Camp Day 3 ~ 2026
Today was a new day with a new song: we began learning, “The Law of the Lord is Perfect”, based on verses from Psalm 19. (It was a nice break, but we’re eager to get back to “How Great Thou Art”!) Meanwhile, the younger classes finished their sponge-painted universe– with splattered stars and a 3-D moon–while the older group worked on their mixed media acrylic night sky, creating different textures and demonstrating perspective. Meanwhile, the Bible class has covered “Light and Darkness” (creation and the fall), “Abraham Counts the Stars” (God’s promise from Abraham to Isaiah), and—today—discussed “Star of Bethlehem” (the birth of Christ). So the kids are getting a survey of the entire Bible! We also continued to memorize much of Psalm 8, and we finished our wind chimes. There was much to be thankful for!
