Are you a complainer?

Are you sometimes, like me, a complainer?
Could it be that your complaining is the cause, not just the result, of your problems? Sometimes the Lord brings trouble after trouble into our lives to root out the ingratitude and unbelief that is at the root of our complaints. Praise God! That means that there is a good, benevolent reason behind so many of our problems in life. God is helping us to learn to rest and rejoice in His unfailing love!
“Prove me, O LORD, and try me; test my heart and my mind. For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I will walk in your faithfulness”. (Psalm 26:2,3 ESV)

“In this you rejoice, though now for a little while, if necessary, you have been grieved by various trials, so that the tested genuineness of your faith—more precious than gold that perishes though it is tested by fire—may be found to result         in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” (1 Peter 1:6,7 ESV)
