Art Camp Day 2 ~ 2025
We had another wonderful day of Art Camp! Today we talked about listening to Jesus like sheep who follow their shepherd.
We also had a real treat. Our resident sheep expert—Mrs. Donna McArdle—brought in real samples of wool, yarn, and fabric, along with her own loom and spinning wheel! She showed the students the complex process involved in taking wool and turning it into thread. She also let them do a little weaving on her loom so they saw how the threads become fabric.
The kids finished their own weaving projects and continued working on their landscapes with Mrs. Taylor. It was a delightful day!
