Art Camp Day 4 ~ 2025
Art Camp is almost over—it’s hard to believe! We have really enjoyed a wonderful week so far. The kids have been well-behaved, and the art projects have been a lot of fun.
Today we learned how Jesus died on the cross to bring us to the Father, and we started singing the final verse of “Savior, like a Shepherd Lead Us.” The kids continued memorizing Psalm 23 and had lots of fun during recreation outside.
The children also finished assembling their button mosaics and sewing their felt pouches. Tomorrow they will make friendship bracelets and decorate “sheep” cakes! Also, recreation tomorrow will involve water balloons, so the children should come prepared to get wet! (They can bring a beach towel if they want).
Everyone is also invited to join us this Sunday at 10 am for Art Camp Sunday. We’ll have a special worship service, during which we’ll sing our Art Camp songs and recite our Art Camp Scriptures. Afterwards, we’ll share a special luncheon with all our Art Camp families. Following lunch, we’ll invite the kids to share their favorite projects, moments, or lessons from Art Camp (so have them bring their favorite art project if they want to share it). Plan on bringing your friends and family and help us celebrate a wonderful week of Art Camp!
