Art Camp Day 5 – 2026

Today was a great conclusion to a wonderful week of Art Camp! The kids learned about Vincent van Gogh’s “The Starry Night” and how he used thick, bright, colorful, painted swirls to capture a sense of motion in the sky; then they decorated cookies to look like the famous painting! They also finished their “button constellations” and enjoyed some water games during recreation. (Always a favorite!) We concluded our study of Psalm 19 and also finished learning, “How Great Thou Art!” (You should hear the children sing!)

We are so thankful for such a wonderful group of kids this year, and we look forward to celebrating together this Sunday for Art Camp Sunday, when the kids will sing their songs and recite their memory verses in worship. We hope you can join us at 10 am this Sunday at New Hope; plan to stay for the luncheon afterwards, when the kids can share their favorite projects and favorite memories of the week! This is always a highpoint of the week!
