What are you afraid of? What worries you or keeps you awake at night?
In your mind, what is the worst possible thing that could ever happen?  Knowing your fears can actually help you, in this sense: our worries and fears often reveal areas where we are not trusting God or when we are putting something else before the Lord. Face your fears by realizing that, even if all your fears were to come true, nothing could separate you from the love of God in Jesus Christ. Even if everything you dread were to actually happen, the Lord would be with you to help you and bring you through. You have nothing to be afraid of.

“…Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through the fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. For I am the Lord your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior…” (Isaiah 43:1-3 ESV)
