Are you alone, or do you ever feel alone?
Sometimes, because of our circumstances, we find ourselves frequently alone. Or, perhaps you are often surrounded by others, yet you feel alone. Loneliness can be difficult and is, in some ways, unnatural. God Himself has said, “It’s not good for man to be alone.” Seek out opportunities to be with others, particularly those with whom you can be yourself. Make the effort, even if at first it isn’t easy. Remember also the importance of spending time alone with Jesus. He understands what you’re going through, and He’s there to help.
“Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave Me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with Me.” (John 16:32 ESV)
