Another great day! We learned about cubism while making Pablo Picasso-inspired self-portraits, and we learned about the properties of light while making chalk pastel drawings of a candle. Plus, we made cardboard sculptures that are just amazing! Meanwhile, the kids seem to LOVE singing “How Great Thou Art”! Today we got into the heart of the gospel as we discussed how “God, His Son not sparing, sent Him to die…that on the cross, my burden gladly bearing, He bled and died to take away my sin….” That’s a message worth singing about!
