Art Camp 2023 Day 2
We began today with the reminder that God made all things good, and therefore He is able to make us good again. God makes good things grow!
Today the kids went outside to make mini-gardens inspired by Claude Monet. They seemed very attentive and engaged. The students displayed so much creativity! One designed a mini golf course. Another added mini lights to the tiny plants in his garden. They also painted stones to add to the garden. One added a flower that would last forever by painting it onto a stone. Another painted a stone to look like a frog!
The students had lesson time with their teachers and also continued learning Psalm 1. “Blessed is the man…he is like a tree planted by streams of water…”
We enjoyed delicious homemade pizza for snack. The groups also played team dodgeball. I think their favorite moment was when each group got to play against their three recreation leaders!
