Art Camp Day 2 Update and Photos

We had another great day at Art Camp today! The kids made personalized mosaics, decorated their mixed-media art journals, learned another verse of “Take My Life and Let it Be”, and competed in a water balloon race! All the while, we talked about how God is always there for us, no matter where we are.

Behind the scenes, we started the day with a challenge—2 of our 3 air conditioning units went out! Fortunately, our team was able to rally together and figure out a solution–we moved the upstairs project downstairs and used electric fans to keep things cool until Domenic Rodriguez and Bob Mixner could get the A/C units back up and running. I don’t think the kids even realized what happened! Special thanks to those 2 men (and everyone on the team) for being flexible and coming up with a speedy solution!

We had 71 kids today, and it seemed like all of them had a great time!
