Here is our Art Camp Update for Day 1.
We had a great start to our Art Camp today! We had at least 58 kids this morning whom we divided into Cardinals, Sea Gulls, and Bluejays. Each group decorated flower pots, did a water color project, and worked on a mural while reflecting on God as our Creator. Somehow the thunderstorm missed us, so that the kids had a chance to play outside as well. Thank God for a great day and for all of our wonderful teachers and helpers!
Tomorrow we’ll be thinking about God’s attributes reflected in His creation, while the kids make puppets, paint gourd birdhouses, and continue working on their mural. Please pray for the children as they begin to adjust to our routine and for the teachers and helpers as we begin to get into the heart of the week.
