How do you handle the holidays?

Thanksgiving and Christmas can be relaxing, hectic, busy, lonely, stressful, happy, or sad, depending on your circumstances.  (Maybe it’s all of the above!)  The apostle Paul’s counsel to the Thessalonians is especially timely this time of year: rejoice, pray, and give thanks, no matter what.
These three routines will help get you through the holiday season in a way that pleases the Lord and is good for your soul.
“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
