The annual Life Chain will be October 4, 2015.  Our shepherding groups will also be meeting  jointly on that date, immediately following Sunday School, to promote and encourage participation in the Life Chain. The theme for the joint shepherding groups will be a Fall Celebration, so please bring a soup, stew or chili and a dessert or bread to share.  Help for set up and tear down will be appreciated.  We will be ending early to allow anyone who wants to participate in the Life Chain event to do so.

Cumberland County’s Annual Life Chain

This year the “Life Chain” will be held on Sunday, October 4, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. along the Delsea Drive intersection at the Cumberland Crossing Shopping Center. The participants will stand on the sidewalks along both sides of the highway. Each person is given a sign with an appropriate statement supporting the Pro Life movement. This witness is meant to be an educational effort directed at passing motorists and not a protest against any business in the area.

Life signs will be handed out at the corner of the entrance to the Cumberland Crossing Shopping Center on both sides of the street. Participants should park in the shopping center parking lot.

The Church & Society Committee of New Hope Presbyterian Church encourages everyone to consider participating as you are able and pray for the impact of this witness to our community.
