In this week’s blog post we have some resources to equip you in your prayer life:

If God Already Knows, Why Pray?, by Doug Kelly.
An excellent book by a solid Reformed pastor and theologian—very practical and pastoral.

Prayer: Experiencing Awe and Intimacy with God, by Timothy Keller.
A thoughtful but practical book by a well-known, contemporary Christian thinker.

Pray With Your Eyes Open, by Richard Pratt.
A very simple, practical book on prayer; very accessible.

The Hour That Changes the World, by Dick Eastman.
This is the book the Wednesday Morning Ladies Study was using, which proposes a method for spending an hour each day in prayer.

“I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers, that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of Him, having the eyes of your heart enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which He has called you, what are the riches of His glorious inheritance in the saints, and what is the immeasurable greatness of His power toward us who believe…(Ephesians 1:17-19 ESV)
