The holiday season can be a very special time, but it can also be very difficult. If you’re prone to feeling blue during the holidays, do something! Send a card, write a letter, make a phone call! Give a gift, say a prayer, prepare a special dish! Get out the decorations, or drive around and enjoy others’ decorations! Reach out to someone else with the good news of Christ’s birth. Do something…for the glory of God!
Or, if you tend to be overwhelmed during the holiday season, focus less on what has to be done, and focus more on why you do it. Simplify, simplify, simplify. Do less this year, but do it for Jesus!
So whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God. (1 Cor. 10:31 ESV)
