What is your problem?  Have you ever asked someone that?
Have you ever asked yourself that?
According to the Bible, we actually have two problems:
1) We fail to live in obedience to God. This is fairly obvious; we sin everyday.
2) We rely on our obedience. This is more subtle, but just as serious. As Luther said, “There is no middle ground between Christian righteousness and works-righteousness. There is no other alternative to Christian righteousness but works righteousness; if you do not build your confidence on the work of Christ you must build your confidence on your own work.”

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. Galatians 2:20
